The Dessert Yurt started out a hobby, became an LLC in September 2013, and returned to hobby status in May of 2014 after I realized being in business took all the fun out of making chocolate. While I have retained the brand identity for my creations, please understand that this is no longer a commercial enterprise. The Dessert Yurt (TDY) is now simply the name I associate with my home-made confectionery endeavors.  The purpose of this web site is to serve as a handy reference for me when I talk to friends about my creations. There is no order form and I do not make confections for hire.
